Meet Chaela, one of our Wigs 4 Kids recipients! Chaela has alopecia, an auto-immune disorder that causes hair loss and she has received wigs and support services through our program for the past several years. Today, she received a new wig and is also turning 10 years old! We were deeply touched when Chaela said this was her best birthday gift ever. This is exactly the type of feeling we hope to inspire at Wigs 4 Kids – a happy experience for our kids who have struggled with the emotional, social and psychological side effects of hair loss. We thank the many hair donors and supporters who help us continue this work for the children. Happy Birthday, Chaela!
