VR 4 Kids Program Accomplishments

When we started putting virtual reality headsets into the hands of our wig recipients through our VR 4 Kids Program, it began as a pilot; collecting feedback from children who were experiencing cancer. The immersive programming assisted them with pain management, meditation & relaxation - whether at home or in the hospital.

We expanded VR 4 Kids in 2024 to encompass additional health challenges resulting in hair loss and watched as our wig recipients' overall wellbeing improved by having access to this incredible technology that has been utilized by Stanford & Yale Pediatric Hospitals. 

We work with XR Impact Network weekly to share updates, celebrate accomplishments and strategize improvements. While we reflect on 2024, we thank the many VR partners that power this resource!
