Today we give a special shoutout to Ms. Doakes, the staff and 3rd – 5th grade students at Tyrone Elementary School in Harper Woods, MI. They participated in an empathy project since many families have been touched directly or indirectly by cancer. If the students wanted to wear pink in support of cancer awareness, they made a donation in any amount. Selecting Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan as their charity of choice, they made a $126 contribution to help us continue providing wigs at no charge to the children in our communities.
