Paula's New Bike!

We have a new friend named Paula who stopped by to inquire if we were hiring or if there were opportunities to volunteer. We learned that due to her physical disabilities and epilepsy, she can’t drive, and her bike is her only means of transportation year-round. It was in disrepair with a broken chain, and Paula kept falling, so we contacted Big Family of Michigan who in turn reached out to Shorewood Kiwanis and between the 3 organizations, we were able to provide a safe bike for her to be able to get around the city & complete her errands.
