Our first class, New Look-New You for the New Year was a great success! First, our wig recipients created vision boards out of magazine clippings. They talked about goals they would like to achieve in beauty & fashion yet this was also a therapeutic project as they discussed health, body image issues and how important it is to take care of themselves. We were happy to see the camaraderie & friendship growing as they participated in this activity! In another portion of the class, they watched an airbrush makeup demonstration. This is another way we help the self-esteem of the children we serve.
