Chelsea has alopecia, an auto-immune disorder causing hair loss and she was one of the first kids in our Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan program to receive a wig! We saw her several times as she journeyed through her health challenge until her hair grew back for about 10 years. Chelsea is now an adult; married and has kids of her own! After a house fire, the trauma caused Chelsea's hair to fall out again and she reached out to Go Green Salon, a separate business inside our Wellness Center to purchase wigs and receive a hair hat. Chelsea chose to purchase wigs at Go Green Salon as a gesture of paying it forward to help new children coming through our doors - thank you, Chelsea!
