We were deeply touched to receive a visit from our wig recipient Alyssa who bravely fought cancer 3 times and received a wig & support services in 2011. She had an appointment a month ago to donate her hair, then came back again on Saturday and brought a friend to donate as a gesture of paying it forward and supporting our Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan program. This is not the first time Alyssa helped her fellow wig recipients: while in treatment, she held a lemonade stand with her friends to raise awareness and funds to sponsor children's wigs. Amazing!
